This month, chambers worldwide are taking a Leap of Kindness. Yes, 2024 is a leap year and with it comes an extra day this month.

For February 29th, what better way to celebrate an extra day in the year than by spreading kindness?

Invented by the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, in New York state, over 200+ chambers participated in the 2020 and 2016 events. The initiative is an opportunity for chambers to showcase and connect the non-profits in their community with local businesses and corporations. It demonstrates the connecting power and caring nature of chambers and the important role they play in boosting quality of life for everyone.

In 2020, chambers in the US, Canada, and Ireland ran programming, and social media posts about donations of time, talent, and treasure were featured from Guatemala, India, and Africa.
