Better understanding the comparative value of membership in your organization, focusses decision-making and brings better results.

Your chamber might be the only one in town, but that doesn’t mean you have a monopoly on serving local businesses. Chambers are small enterprises, and like most small businesses, chambers have competitors too. Some argue that other business serving organizations in the community are actually potential collaborators. This may be true, but let’s make sure we are clear on how our chamber’s services are unique, or at least how they compare to the competition.

Here’s a review of the typical services and benefits for businesses engaging in a chamber of commerce  tourism bureau, economic development office, Rotary / service club, or  technology association.

How does your chamber compare to other players in your community?

Chamber of Commerce:
